All our online banking solutions are accessible using a secure connection with an ‘https://’ address and use extended-validation (EV) digital certificates.
Users should be very vigilant if they receive any unexpected e-mail, telephone call or fax claiming to be from UBP and never disclose any personal data in such cases as UBP would never ask for it in such a way.
Personal information should also never be disclosed to any person who has not been identified with certainty or whose motives are doubtful.
Users should carefully check the addresses of e-mail messages received from unusual senders and pay attention to irregularities such as spelling or grammar mistakes and/or the tone of the message. A link or attachment should never be clicked on if there is any doubt whatsoever that the e-mail message is genuine.
It is also essential to watch out for e-mails with unusual content. Phishing attacks tend to be designed to cause curiosity, fear or a sense of urgency in the reader, inciting them to carry out the suggested action. For checking sources, users must never click on links provided in the suspicious message; they must use official addresses, typing them manually or selecting them from their list of favourites.
For further information clients should contact their relationship manager or UBP’s Support team on eBankingSupport@ubp.ch or +41 58 819 3800.
Use of electronic devices
It is strongly advised not to connect from a third party's device, and not to use jailbreak mobile platforms. Users should never run a programme that has an unknown source, and our mobile app must only be installed from an official app store.
Security software such as firewalls, antivirus and antimalware must be installed and regularly updated, and regular updates of the operating system and apps are also advised.
Encryption is recommended at least for sensitive or confidential data, and ideally for their entire operating system.
Users should avoid connecting to the Internet on an open public network such as those provided by hotels or airports.
Lastly, sessions should always be closed with the ‘log out’ function whether on the mobile app or a browser, and the use of private browsing is recommended.

Useful Information
Prior to your first connection, kindly note that you must contact your Relationship Manager to have your account activated. Please make sure that the SecurID number does not expire during the connection process.
Please be reminded that your password allows letters and numbers and must have between 4 and 8 characters. Note as well that, after a failed attempt to log in due to a password error, you must wait for a new SecurID number to be generated and restart your connection procedure.
If you encounter any trouble logging on, please contact us on eBankingSupport@ubp.ch or +41 58 819 3800.
